Supporting the participation of Hungarian companies in EIT Manufacturing through business development programs

Framework: Support for Hungarian participation in EIT KIC partnerships

Aim of the project:
Pannon Business Network Association, as the representative of EIT Manufacturing in Hungary, implements its business development activities within the framework of the project in order to ensure the widest visibility of EIT Manufacturing. This goal is achieved by training and mentoring companies, as well as mentoring startups and supporting their participation in local and international competitions. Successful implementation of the project will increase the chances of Hungarian companies applying for EIT and other funding, such as Horizon Europe, and is expected to lead to a significant increase in international cooperation.
Business development programs:
Depending on their needs, businesses can apply for the following program elements:
5-7 months of mentoring for start-ups, complemented by consultations with industry experts and support for their participation in national and international competitions. The mentoring activity will be primarily based on gap analysis methodology, aiming to identify areas that hinder the growth of start-ups and to find solutions.
A company-specific mentoring program, continuous consultation with professionals and creation of a development plan in the area of modern manufacturing technology solutions such as 3D technologies, AR applications, robotics and data science.
One-day training courses in digitalisation or manufacturing technology for businesses, with optional modules, for colleagues from technical and management backgrounds.
- International study visit
For companies and start-ups have participated in the training or mentoring programmes, a 3-day international study visit for company representatives and employees. The study tour will be primarily a visit to a European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) member institute, R&D institutions complemented by participation in professional presentations, forums, B2B meetings. The visit is expected to take place in 2023, with travel, accommodation and catering costs covered.
