Education for Tomorrow AT-HU

Acronym
: eTOM AT-HU
Framework
: Interreg V-A Austria-Hungary Cooperation Programme 2021-2027
Duration of the project: 10.02.2024 - 09.02.2027

Aim of the project:

In response to the educational challenges of the 21st century, the project partners aim to jointly develop the skills and competences of the future. This means a new educational mission for teachers and educational specialist, who have to prepare the next generation for an unknown future. This requires cross-border cooperation and the joint development of sustainable and innovative educational solutions. This will be achieved through the use of the "Making" form of teaching, which aims to develop digital, manual, intercultural and language skills simultaneously across subjects.

We provide space for creative processes where children use analogue and digital elements in their DIY activities, learning cross-curricular skills and the language of the neighbouring country through play. By experimenting and designing with different digital tools, techniques and materials, children can realise their own ideas. As a result, high quality education can be delivered in an enjoyable way. We aim to reach a total of 121 educational institutions in the border region, 81 of which will be intensively involved in our pilot activities.
