Skills development to support SMEs during succession and transfer processes

Aim of the project:

The Success Skills project aims to support SMEs and micro-businesses during succession and transfer processes by enhancing the skills of successors and professionals involved in the transition phase. The project tries to address the problem of generational change in SMEs, which has a significant relevance in Hungary, given that more than 2/3 of family businesses don’t have any succession strategy. Hence, it promotes interregional learning and policy improvements to ensure sustainable business transfers across Europe.

Activity of PBN:

PBN can use its expertise in the SuccessSkills project as a business support organization focused on regional economic development. It contributes to identifying regional challenges and needs related to business succession and transfers and facilitates the interregional learning process by participating in thematic workshops and staff exchanges. Through its involvement, PBN supports the integration of these insights into regional development strategies, ultimately fostering a more supportive environment for business continuity and SME competitiveness.
