DIH² is a network of 26 DIHs, with a target to reach over 170 DIHs until 202
2. The goal is establishing a sustainable network of robotics DIHs,
endowed with tools and procedures, to facilitate the commercialisation and broad uptake of Agile Production
by Manufacturing SMEs/Slightly Bigger Companies.
Through two rounds of Open Calls, in total 26 consortia composed of up to 3 members including Manufacturing SMEs/Slightly Bigger Companies and Technology Providers,
will be selected to participate in a Technology Transfer Program
. The beneficiaries will receive financial support, training and other technical and business services to ensure rapid commercialisation of their solutions.
The Second Open Call is divided in two selection process steps:
Step 1 – Short Proposal Submission:
In this step, consortia of Manufacturing SMEs or Slightly Bigger Companies and Technology Providers (either SMEs or slightly bigger companies) can apply by submitting a short proposal describing their proposed Technology Transfer Experiment (TTE). These consortia will receive support from DIHs to prepare the short proposal. The application for short proposals will be done via an open call which will be open for 3 months. The proposals should be submitted via the FundingBox platform. The short proposals will focus on the technical aspects of the experiment. The short proposals will be evaluated based on their relevance and excellence by 2 internal technical evaluators. Five proposals per eligible country will be selected to present a full proposal.
Step 2 – Full Proposal Submission:
The full proposal will complement the short proposal and will provide additional detail with a more business focus on the potential impact and implementation of the Technology Transfer Experiments. Applicants will have two months to complete the full proposal. Support from DIHs will be provided to complete the full proposal.
