“BoostUp! RIS” is a pan-European business competition powered by EIT Manufacturing for innovative projects, startups, scaleups, and SMEs in the manufacturing sector with a geographical focus on the RIS eligible countries (that haven’t applied to our BoostUp! 2020 challenge).
 
We are looking for thriving teams and companies whose applications should fall under the realm of manufacturing solutions and fit one of the following EIT Manufacturing flagship areas as well as one the technology domains listed in the competition guidelines and rules and regulations.
 
Teams or companies can submit their applications in one of the following three categories:

• CREATE: In this segment, we are looking for innovative projects ready to create a business that addresses critical manufacturing pain points.
• ACCELERATE: In this segment, startups and scaleups are invited to demonstrate their readiness to expand their ventures geographically or to new customer segments.
• TRANSFORM: In this segment, we invite SMEs to offer proposals that will take them to the next level of competitiveness.

The BoostUp! RIS finalists will present their ideas and solutions on the pitching competition that will take place on 11 and 12 May 2021 during the Manufacturing Days powered by EIT Manufacturing as part of the ViennaUP ’21, one of the largest European start-up festivals.
The winners will receive visibility, financial prizes and dedicated packages of support services provided by the EIT Manufacturing Business Creation team.
 
Applications from the following RIS Countries are eligible: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.
