BEST-DIH 4th Interregional Thematic Seminar

PBN organized the 4th Interregional Thematic Seminar - Innovate Together - Interregional collaboration between DIHs and EDIHs - and study visit, in Sárvár & Szombathely, Hungary during 7-8th November 2024.
The event gathered project partners and stakeholders to explore local initiatives in digital transformation and cross-border collaboration between Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs).

Key highlights of the Seminar:
  • Digitalization in Szombathely – Plans and developments - Local authorities presented their current and future projects aimed at accelerating the city's digital transformation and improving public services through smart solutions.
  • Pannonia2030 Initiative, focusing on cross-border collaboration (Austria-Hungary), showcasing efforts to create a more connected and digitalized regional ecosystem.
  • Innovative DIH Cooperation Projects - Participants explored key DIH-led initiatives supporting companies in their transition to advanced digital technologies. The session also highlighted successful collaborations and knowledge exchange across different European regions.
  • Best Practices from Across Europe - Experts from Spain, the Netherlands, Finland, Italy, and Romania shared inspiring projects and initiatives on how digitalization is driving transformation in both industry and urban communities.
Following the seminar, partners had the chance to visit PBN’s digital innovation hub – am-LAB. The hands-on session allowed participants to engage with cutting-edge prototypes, extended reality (XR) solutions, and educational technologies designed to train the next generation of professionals.
 
 
 
The second day was dedicated only to project partners to discuss the ongoing activities and plan the upcoming semester.
