Project duration: January 2012 - December 2014
Aim: TRES aims to elaborate on an economic development conception that is based on the capabilities of each region and can be developed by the best practices and innovation trends in the EU. In the frame of the project, the economic-social status and the innovation strategies in all partner regions will be analyzed and in the same time, the regional special branches will be described. The partners define the good practices in the field of specialization as well as of the „Open” and „User-driven” innovation. Based on the experiences of these good practices each partner defines together with relevant stakeholders the regional specialization areas which mean the focus of the developments in the future. The methodology and the achieved results of TRES provide inputs for the regional policymakers and economic developers contributing to the improvement of regional competitiveness.

Activities of PBN: Our organization pays special attention to TRES project namely PBN has got an opportunity through international cooperation to take part in the preparation phase of the planning for the next economic period. Toward this process, PBN works together with the Government of Vas County as well as with the relevant national organizations. During the project 2 regional good practices will be selected as international example thereafter the West-Transdanubian Development Strategy with the new approach will be defined based on one of the interregional good practices which match on the most relevant way for the region.
