Aim of the project: Cooperation actors in the field of bio-economy in the Danube region: development of platforms for cooperation between enterprises, research institutes, universities and public sector actors, development of innovative partnerships and implementation of joint pilot projects in the wood industry, biomass and biofuels. Formulation of strategies and establishment of a bio-economic network along the Danube, with the aim of establishing future co-operations.

Activities of PBN: PBN plays a key role in the economic development of the Western Transdanubia region. The association, which has a 10-year history, maintains an active relationship with the players in the wood industry, the Ministry of National Economy and companies. The aim of the project is to share international knowledge for the sector through international experience.
