One of the most important, most pressing issues of our time is the rational reduction of energy consumption, and this is especially true of cities that are home to the vast majority of the population. The energy development of buildings is therefore inevitable for a livable future. What is the latest knowledge and how can it be applied, how much can be saved? What should be the energy-saving lighting, how should public transport work, what environmentally-friendly technologies should a municipality use?

In the INNOSPIRIT Urban Technology Mapping and Use project, we are looking for answers to these questions.
Twelve feasibility studies on both sides of the Austro-Hungarian border, led by the City of Vienna, were also carried out during the work
will be completed for a public building, and the experience will be widely available.
