I3SME - Meeting of Hidden Champions in Szombathely

Pannon Business Network has been cooperating since October 2008 with Austrian, German, Italian, Polish and Slovenian partners in the realisation of the I3SME benchmarking project.

The aim of the international project is to support the development of the local micro-, small- and medium sized enterprises by using an internationally tested benchmarking analysis tool. With the application of this tool the partners are able to make international benchmarking comparison among the involved SMEs by checking their innovation potential and business behaviour. The benchmarking tool enabled the partners to identify the so called Hidden Champions, the companies who can act as best practice for other SMEs.

As result of the 3 year cooperation the I3SME project nears to its end. To discuss the achieved results of the project PBN invited the involved West-Transdanubian companies for a joint discussion to share experiences and personal ideas and to continue the dialogue with the actors of the local market about market changes and local impact of the project activities.
